Hispanic holidays don’t start on Black Friday

Multi-gen houses, longer lists, Nochebuena before Cyber Monday. If your Q4 plan starts November 28, you already missed the spend.

Hispanic holidays don’t start on Black Friday

If your Hispanic holiday plan is “Black Friday plus a Spanish caption,” you are late. The lists got made around Nochebuena, Día de los Reyes, and the family group chat — not around your promo calendar.

Big families, bigger tickets

Hispanic households are more likely to be multi-generational. That means one cart for abuela, the kids, and whoever is flying in. Campaigns that sell togetherness — not a lone shopper in a red sweater — are the ones that move product.

Culture first, retail second

Navidad, Posadas, Día de los Reyes sit next to Thanksgiving. Brands that only show up November 28 miss the weeks when meals, travel, and gifts are actually decided.

Creators are the storefront

Hispanic shoppers buy from people they already believe: a cousin, a neighborhood cook, a bilingual host filming from a real kitchen. Put the offer in that mouth. Limited-time, bilingual, usage that lasts past the flight.

Do this

  • Buy usage so the work can live in Stories after the campaign dies.
  • Measure saves, shares, store visits. Views are a vanity metric.
  • Keep it warm, specific, unscripted.
